Pengertian Past Progressive Tense

Adalah kata kerja yang digunakan untuk mengungkapkan tindakan masa lalu/masa lampau yang sedang berlangsung.  Tidakan tersebut sudah dimulai namun belum selesai pada saat itu. Ada juga tindakan dapat disela dengan sesuatu kegiatan.

Fungsi dan Contoh Kalimat

• Past Progressive Tense that explain activity that started in the past but still happen in specific time Example : I was coming to English class  
• Past Progressive Tense to explain two sentence/activities that happen in the same time in the specific time.   

         Example : I was studying English when Eko came late

*disini kalimat I was studying English bersifat longer activity/past continous, sedangkan Eko came late bersifat short activity/simple past
